SUMMARY:Hike: Giant Stairs Along the Hudson
DESCRIPTION:Due to the potential flooding we are moving this hike from
  5.17 to 5.31.  If you cannot make the new date send a refund request
  to Laura@NJYP.org by 5.20.14\n\nJoin us as we take on one of the most
  challenging and beautiful hikes along the Hudson River! “This loop 
 hike descends the Palisades cliffs, follows a challenging, rocky path 
 along the Hudson River, passes a scenic waterfall, and climbs to reach
  a panoramic viewpoint over the river.” You will certainly earn the 
 majestic views taken in as well as the post-hike lunch the group tradi
 tionally hits up.\n\n\n Member Cost: $10 online $20 at the door  Non-M
 ember Cost: $20 online and at the door.  Specs: Time 4 hours Difficult
 y level is 3.75, http://www.njyp.org/page/hike-ratings NO BEGINNERS 
 Length 4.5 miles  Sweeper: If the group size is large we are going to 
 look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the en
 d of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.  Hike 
 Leader: David will be leading this hike. David will not be waiting for
  late people. In fairness to those who arrive on time, the hike will s
 tart on time.  What to bring: Hiking boots are required. 2 liters of w
 ater is required.  Inclement Weather: Any precipitation will cancel th

 . Tickets will be refunded.  Directions: Take the Palisades Interstate
  Park north from the George Washington Bridge. Continue for 1.7 miles 
 beyond Exit 2, and turn right at a sign for the State Line Lookout. Fo
 llow the access road for about half a mile until it ends at a large pa
 rking lot near the lookout. (If you are coming from the north on the P
 arkway, bear left just beyond Exit 3 and follow the signs for the look
