SUMMARY:Hike: Harriman Challenge, Part II
DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for a fun and awesome day outdoors?! Due to 
 the popularity of the first Harriman Challenge, we created a brand new
  adventure just for you! Come explore this beautiful section of Harrim
 an that will carry us past beautiful lakes, through pristine forests, 
 around giant boulders and a beautiful ridge walk that overlooks a scen
 ic valley. Of course, such an adventure will work up a hunger and thir
 st, so we will meet for food and warm drinks at Rhodes Tavern afterwar
 ds.\n\nSpecs:\nThe hike is classified as moderately strenuous to stren
 uous with a lot of uphill and downhill. \nHike is about 8 miles long a
 nd we will walk at a moderate pace. \nHike will take 4.5 to 5 hours, d
 epending on how people feel. \nAs with all hikes you must be in good, 
 athletic shape.  This is NOT suitable for beginners.\n\n\n\nMember Co
 st:\n$5 for the first 5\n$10 for the next 6 to 25\n$20 at the door\n\n
 Non-Member Cost:\n$20 online and at the door.\n\nTickets:\nThere are a
  limited number of Tickets for sale.\nTickets are not mailed, but your
  name will be kept at the door. All sales are final.\n\nHike Leader:\n
 David will be leading this hike. David will not be waiting for late pe
 ople.  In fairness to those who arrive on time, the hike will start o
 n time.\n\nSweeper:\nIf the group size is larger than 10, we are going
  to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at th
 e end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.\n\
 nWhat to bring:\nHiking boots and 3 liters of water (required). \nA li
 ght snack, especially if you do not plan to eat with the group afterwa
 rds.  \nWe recommend wearing non cotton clothing layers (especially t
 he base layer).  Cotton holds in moisture and will make you feel cold
  if you start sweating. This is especially important in cooler weather
 .\n\nInclement Weather:\nHeavy precipitation will cancel this hike; dr
 izzle will not. Please check your inbox for updates. Tickets will be r
 efunded.\n\nDirections:\nHead north on I-287. Follow I-287 until the N
 Y State border and follow the signs for I-87 North (also known as NY S
 tate Thruway).  Take exit 15A and make a left at the end of the exit 
 ramp onto RT 17 North.  Follow that for 2.5 miles and make a right tu
 rn onto Seven Lakes Drive.  Follow Seven Lakes Drive for 0.8 miles an
 d make a left turn (just after the bridge you travel under) onto Johns
 onton Rd. Follow that to the end where there will be a parking circle.
