Based on the migration schedule we should be able to spot several different types of hawks, including but not limited to the American Kestrel, Northern Harrier, R ed-tailed Hawk, and the Golden Eagle. Young Professionals and Hawks, s o happy together :)\n\nSpecs:\nThe hike is classified as easy to moder ate and is about 2.4 miles long.\nThe hike should take 2 hours.\nAs wi th all hikes you must be in good, athletic shape.\nFull Description On line\n\n\n\nMember Cost:\n$5 for the first 5 to buy a ticket\n$10 for the next 6-25 to buy a ticket\n$20 at the door (so please register onl ine)\n\nNon-Member Cost:\n$20 online and at the door\n\nTickets:\nTher e are a limited number of Tickets for sale.\nTickets are not mailed, b ut your name will be kept at the door.\nActual hike is subject to chan ge depending on weather conditions, fallen trees, etc.\nAll sales are final.\n\nSweeper:\nIf we have a large group we will ask for 2 volunte ers to act as sweepers. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.\n\nHike Leader:\nNoah wi ll be leading this hike. He may do a trial run of the hike to make sur e the trails are clean, etc.\n\nWhat to bring:\nHiking boots and water (required).\nSnacks, a light lunch, etc.\nBinoculars.\nToilet paper, tissues, plastic bags for garbage, etc.\n\nInclement Weather:\nPrecipi tation will cancel this hike. Please check your inbox for updates and the NJYP.org calendar. Tickets will be refunded.\n\nDirections:\nTake Interstate Route 80 to Exit 37 (Hibernia/Rockaway) and bear left at th e end of the ramp. Continue north on Green Pond Road (County Route 513 ) for 6.5 miles and turn right onto Upper Hibernia Road. (If coming fr om the north, you can take Route 23 to Green Pond Road, head south for 3.7 miles, and turn left onto Upper Hibernia Road.) Follow Upper Hibe rnia Road for 2.5 miles to the end of the paved portion of the road.
