Based on the migration schedule, we should be able to spot several different types of hawks, including the American Kestrel, Northern Harrier, Red-tailed Hawk, an d the Golden Eagle. Gawk at the hawks!\n Specs: Easy to moderate.\n3 m iles long and should take 2 hours. As with all hikes, you must be in good, athletic shape. Member Cost: $5 for the first 5 to buy a tick et $10 for the next 6-25 to buy a ticket $20 at the door (so please re gister online) Non-Member Cost: $20 online and at the door Tickets: There are a limited number of Tickets for sale. Tickets are not mailed , but your name will be kept at the door. Actual hike is subject to ch ange depending on weather conditions, fallen trees, etc. All sales are final.\n Sweeper: If the group size is larger than 10, we are going t o look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.\n\nH ike Leader: David will be leading this hike. Please be on time, he wil l not wait for latecomers. What to bring: Hiking boots and water (req uired). Snacks, a light lunch, etc. Binoculars. Directions: Take Interstate Rou te 80 to Exit 37 (Hibernia/Rockaway) and bear left at the end of the r amp. Continue north on Green Pond Road (County Route 513) for 6.5 mile s and turn right onto Upper Hibernia Road. (If coming from the north, you can take Route 23 to Green Pond Road, head south for 3.7 miles, an d turn left onto Upper Hibernia Road.) Follow Upper Hibernia Road for 2.5 miles to the end of the paved portion of the road.
