It is said that Jenny still haunts the area, occasionally startling hikers and campers. Join us as we explore this beautiful park with aw esome views of the surrounding hills and the far-away Delaware Water G ap, get a peek of eerie Ghost Lake and step foot on the infamous Shade s of Death Rd! After the hike, join us for an optional lunch nearby t hat will feature hot food and drinks. \n Member Cost: $10 online $20 at the door (so please register online) Non-Member Cost: $20 online a nd at the door Hike Leader: David will be leading this hike. David wi ll not be waiting for late people. In fairness to those who arrive on time, the hike will start on time. Hike Specs: Difficulty level is 3. 5, http://www.njyp.org/page/hike-ratings Moderate to Strenuous. 5.5 mi les. 3 hours. As with all hikes you must be in good, athletic shape. B eginners are encouraged to attend. Sweeper: If the group size is larg er than 10, we are going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together. What to bring: Hiking boots and 2 liters of wat er (required). We recommend a light snack to keep your appetite satisf ied. Please make sure you have a bag to carry out your garbage. Incle ment Weather: Any precipitation beyond a drizzle will cancel this hike . Tickets will be refunded. Directions: Take Rt 80 West until exit 12 . At the end of the exit ramp, make a left onto Rt 521 (Hope Blairstow n Rd). Proceed approx 1.2 miles until the blinking red light and make a left onto Johnsonburg Rd. Go about 1.1 miles and make a right on Shi loh Rd. (Do not take Jenny Jump Rd). Go another 1.2 miles and then bea r right at the fork. Both left and right are State Park Rd, so be sure to go right (the sign for the park will point you right). Follow that and you will see the big wooden Jenny Jump sign. Shortly after, you w ill come to a mini triangle in the road. Bear right (it will almost se em straight), then follow the little unpaved gravel/dirt road immediat ely after that triangle to the right. The lot is at the end of the ver y short road.
