On the edge of Morristown, this historical park provides a scenic and easy hike f or us to enjoy. We will hike an easy trail through forest and past his toric recreations of soldier’s huts from the Revolutionary War (wint er of 1779-1780). The trail is relatively flat with only small uphill and downhill so it is perfect for beginners.\n\nAfter our adventure, w e will go out to eat for lunch.\n\nSpecs:\nThe hike is classified as e asy and should take 2-2.5 hours.\nThe total length of the hike will be between 4 and 5 miles long and we will walk at an easy pace.\nThis hi ke is good for beginners!\nAs with all hikes you must be in reasonable athletic shape.\n\n\n\nMember Cost:\n$5 for the first 10 to buy a tic ket\n$10 for the next 11-25 to buy a ticket\n$20 at the door (so pleas e register online)\n\nNon-Member Cost:\n$20 online and at the door\n\n Tickets:\nThere are a limited number of Tickets for sale. Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kept at the door. Actual hike is sub ject to change depending on weather conditions, fallen trees, etc. All sales are final.\n\nSweeper:\nIf the group is large we are going to l ook for 2 volunteers to act as sweepers. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.\n\nHike Leader:\nNoah will be leading this hike.\n\nWhat to bring:\nHiking bo ots or sneakers\n2 Liters of Water (required).\nSnacks, a light lunch, etc.\nLayers if it is cold.\nToilet paper, tissues, plastic bags for garbage, etc.\n\nInclement Weather:\nHeavy rain or extreme cold might cancel this hike. Turn left at the light @ Tempe Wick Rd. (Do not let this confuse you as th e street name on the right side is different).
