On the edge of Morrist own, this historical park provides a scenic and easy hike for us to en joy. We will hike an easy trail through forest and past historic recre ations of soldier’s huts from the Revolutionary War (winter of 1779- 1780). The trail is relatively flat with only small uphill and downhil l so it is perfect for beginners.\n\nAfter our adventure, we will opti onally go out to eat for lunch.\n\nSpecs:\nThe hike is classified as e asy and should take 2-2.5 hours.\nThe total length of the hike will be between 4 and 5 miles long and we will walk at an easy pace.\nThis hi ke is good for beginners!\nAs with all hikes you must be in reasonable athletic shape.\n\n\nRSVP (to the right) and we will let you know whe n tix are almost gone, when prices are going up, if there are any chan ges, etc.\n\nMember Cost:\n$5 for the first 10 to buy a ticket\n$10 fo r the next 11-25 to buy a ticket\n$20 at the door (so please register online)\n\nNon-Member Cost:\n$20 online and at the door\n\nTickets:\nT here are a limited number of Tickets for sale. Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kept at the door. Actual hike is subject to cha nge depending on weather conditions, fallen trees, etc. All sales are final.\n\nSweeper:\nIf the group is large we are going to look for 2 v olunteers to act as sweepers. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hik e line and will make sure the group stays together.\n\nHike Leader:\nD avid will be leading this hike.\n\nWhat to bring:\nHiking boots or sne akers\n2 Liters of Water (required).\nSnacks, a light lunch, etc.\nSun block and bug spray.\nToilet paper, tissues, plastic bags for garbage , etc.\n\nInclement Weather:\nHeavy rain or extreme heat might cancel this hike. Turn left a t the light @ Tempe Wick Rd. (Do not let this confuse you as the stree t name on the right side is different).
