Alt hough very popular with bird watchers, Lord Stirling Park offers much more than just that. Nestled within this piece of the Great Swamp are several ponds, beautiful woodlands, fresh water marshes and beautiful meadows. Please join us in this peaceful walk through nature where you can relax your worries away with good company!\n\nAfter our adventure , we will optionally go out to eat for lunch.\n\n\nRSVP (to the right) and we will let you know when tix are almost gone, when prices are go ing up, if there are any changes, etc.\n\nMember Cost:\n$5 for the fir st 10 to buy a ticket\n$10 for the next 11-25 to buy a ticket\n$20 at the door (so please register online)\n\nNon-Member Cost:\n$20 online a nd at the door\n\nPremium Member Cost:\nFREE for Premium Members who r egister online\n\nTickets:\nThere are limited tickets available.\nAll sales are final.\nPlease do not print your ticket confirmation but do save it on your computer.\n\nSpecs:\nThe hike is classified as easy an d should take about 2 hours.\nThe total length of the hike will be abo ut 5 miles long and we will walk at an easy pace.\nThis hike is good f or beginners!\nAs with all hikes you must be in reasonable athletic sh ape.\n\nSweeper:\nIf the group size is larger than 10, we are going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the e nd of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.\n\nHi ke Leader:\nDavid will be leading this hike.\n\nWhat to bring:\nHiking boots and bug spray are strongly recommended and 2 liters of water is required. Hiking boots will help keep the mud out of your feet when h iking as the trail may have a few wet spots. It is bug season, so plea se bring the bug spray.\n\nInclement Weather:\nHeavy precipitation wil l cancel this hike; drizzle will not. Please check your inbox for upda tes and the NJYP.org calendar. Tickets will be refunded.\n\nDirections :\nTake 287 North or South to exit 30A. Follow North Maple Ave (it wil l become South Maple Ave) for approx 2.4 -2.6 miles and make a left on to Lord Stirling Rd.
