Exp and your girlfriend circle by meeting up with local, young women who e njoy the outdoors.\n\nSituated in a quiet little corner of Somerset Co unty is a neat little park that offers a variety of scenery. Although very popular with bird watchers, Lord Stirling Park offers much more t han just that. Nestled within this piece of the Great Swamp are severa l ponds, beautiful woodlands, fresh water marshes and beautiful meadow s. Please join us in this peaceful walk through nature with good compa ny!\n\nSpecs:\nSkill Level- Easy; this hike is good for beginners!\nLe ngth- 5 miles in 2 hours.\nAs with all hikes you must be in reasonable athletic shape.\n\n\n\nMember Cost:\n$5 for the first 10 to buy a tic ket\n$10 for the next 11-25 to buy a ticket\n$20 at the door (so pleas e register online)\n\nNon-Member Cost:\n$20 online and at the door\n\n Sweeper:\nIf the group size is larger than 10, we are going to look fo r a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the end of th e hike line and will make sure the group stays together.\n\nHike Leade r:\nJenn will be leading this hike. Jenn will not be waiting for late people. In fairness to those who arrive on time, the hike will start o n time.\n\nWhat to bring:\nHiking boots are strongly recommended and 2 liters of water is required.\nHiking boots will help keep the mud out of your feet when hiking as the trail may have a few wet spots.\n\nIn clement Weather:\nHeavy precipitation and/or temps below 32 degrees wi ll cancel this hike. Follow North Maple Ave (it will become South Ma ple Ave) for approx 2.4 -2.6 miles and make a left onto Lord Stirling Rd.
