 nty is a neat little park that offers a variety of scenery. Although v
 ery popular with bird watchers, Lord Stirling Park offers much more th
 an just that. Nestled within this piece of the Great Swamp are several
  ponds, beautiful woodlands, fresh water marshes and beautiful meadows
 . Please join us in this peaceful walk through nature with good compan
 y!  After our adventure, we will go out for warm food and drinks.  Spe
 cs: Difficulty level is 2.0, http://www.njyp.org/page/hike-ratings (
 great for beginners). Length- 5 miles in 2 hours. Pace- Easy As with a
 ll hikes you must be in reasonable athletic shape.  \n\nMember Cost: $
 10 online $20 the day of and at the door  Non-Member Cost: $20 online 
 and at the door  Sweeper: If the group size is larger than 10, we are 
 going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk 
 at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays togethe
 r.  Hike Leader: Maren will be leading this hike. Maren will not be wa
 iting for late people. In fairness to those who arrive on time, the hi
 ke will start on time.  What to bring: Hiking boots are strongly recom
 mended and 2 liters of water is required. Hiking boots will help keep 
 the mud out of your feet when hiking as the trail may have a few wet s
 pots.  Inclement Weather: Heavy precipitation and/or temps below 32 de
 grees will cancel this hike. Please check your inbox for updates and t

 North or South to exit 30A. Follow North Maple Ave (it will become Sou
 th Maple Ave) for approx 2.4 -2.6 miles and make a left onto Lord Stir
 ling Rd. Follow that for about 1 mile and the park will be on the left
