SUMMARY:Hike: Norvin Green in Ringwood
DESCRIPTION:This hike has been postponed from May 7th to May 21st beca
 use of the weather.\n\nCome out and enjoy the spring air with a scenic
 , vigorous hike in the Highlands of NJ.  This hike sports a 360 degre
 e mountain top viewpoint where we can see far-away hills, sparkling re
 servoirs and the NYC skyline as well as a beautiful waterfall (which t
 hanks to a wet winter and spring, should be flowing very nicely!).  W
 e will meet for an optional late lunch after the hike.  Specs: The hik
 e is classified as Moderate to Strenuous (depending on your fitness le
 vel) and is about 6 miles long. The hike should take 3.5 hours. As wi
 th all hikes you must be in good, athletic shape.\nMember Cost:\n$7 fo
 r the first 5 to buy a ticket $10 for the next 6-25 to buy a ticket $2
 0 at the door (so please register online)  Non-Member Cost: $15 online
 , $20 at the door\n\nTickets: There are a limited number of Tickets fo
 r sale. Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kept at the door
 . Actual hike is subject to change depending on weather conditions, fa
 llen trees, etc. All sales are final.\n Sweeper: If our hiking group 
 is large we might look for 2 volunteers to act as sweepers. Sweepers w
 ill walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stay
 s together.  Hike Leader: David will be leading this hike.  What to b
 ring: Hiking boots and water (both required). Be prepared for mud and 
 water. Snacks, a light lunch, etc. Toilet paper, tissues, plastic bags
  for garbage, etc.  Inclement Weather: Precipitation will cancel this
  hike.  Please check your inbox for updates and the NJYP.org calendar
 . Tickets will be refunded.  How to find the group: Meet in the dirt 
 parking lot right on Snake Den Rd.  It is a large area and immediatel
 y visible from the road so there is no mistaking it.  It will be on t
 he right hand side as you are driving up Snake Den Rd. Please arrive o
 n time as we will not wait for latecomers.  Directions: Take 287 Nort
 h to exit 55.  At the end of the ramp, make a right onto Ringwood Ave
 .  Follow that for 4 miles and make a left onto Westbrook Drive (It w
 ill be just past the Skyline Diner which is on the right side).  Afte
 r about 1.5 miles, you will get to the intersection, bear left.  Afte
 r approx 0.5 miles, turn left onto Snake Den Rd.  Follow that for abo
 ut 0.6 miles to the dirt parking lot on the right, right off the road.
