Then join other Young Professionals on thi s quick winter hike that will take us through the woods, around a lake and past waterfalls. You will get good fresh air into your lungs and your heart will be pumping! At the end everyone will venture to a loca l restaurant for a warm lunch and hot drinks. Specs: The hike is clas sified as moderate and is about 4.5 miles long. The hike should take 2 .5 hours. Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kept at the door. Actual hike is subject to change depending on weather conditions, fal len trees, etc. All sales are final. Sweeper: If the group size is la rger than 10, we are going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper . Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure th e group stays together. Hike Leader: David will be leading this hike. He will not be waiting for late comers. In fairness to those who arri ve on time, the hike will start on time. What to bring: Hiking boots are required. Please bring 2 liters of water as well (yes, it is just as easy to dehydrate in the cold). Please dress in layers that are not made out of cotton. Cotton, when wet, does not dry and can make you f eel much colder. Synthetic fiber outdoor wear is always ideal in all w eather conditions and all seasons. Consider bringing a snack as well i f you may get hungry while hiking. Inclement Weather: Precipitation ( rain or snow) may cancel this hike.
