Remember you can attend this hike at no cost, http://www.njyp.org/page/winter-hike-pass\n\nSc hooley's Mountain Park was once Camp Washington,  a YMCA camp until t he 1950's.  Today, this Morris County park offers multiple activities and beautiful scenery.  We'll hike a 4 mile loop around the park, ta king in waterfalls and a lookout across the valley.  Afterward, the g roup may go for a late lunch and drinks...totally optional but always fun!\n \n\n\n\nMember Cost: $10 online $20 the day of and at the door \n \nNon-Member Cost: $20 online and at the door.\n \nTickets:\nTher e are a limited number of tickets for sale. Tickets are not mailed, bu t your name will be kept at the door. All sales are final.\n \nSpecs: Difficulty level is 2.5, http://www.njyp.org/page/hike-ratings Lengt h of the hike is about 4 miles long and we will walk at a moderate pac e. The hike should take about 2.5 hours.   As with all hikes you mus t be in good, athletic shape.\n \nSweeper: If the group size is large we are going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers wi ll walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.\n \nHike Leader: Maren will be leading this hike. She will make sure the hike starts on time so please arrive on time.\n \nWhat to bring: Water (required). Hiking boots and bug spray recommended. Tickets will be refunded.\n \nDirections: From Southern Points: From I-287 North, take Exit 22B to merger onto US 202 /US 206 North toward Bedminster.  In 1.3 miles, keep left on US 206 N orth.  Continue 8.8 miles on US 206 North into Chester.  Turn left o nto West Main Street/County Route 513 (formerly designated as N.J. Rou te 24) and follow it for 4.5 miles.  Turn right onto Schooly's Mounta in Road.  Continue 0.8 miles on Schooley's Mountain Road, then turn r ight onto Camp Washington Road.  Continue 0.7 miles on Camp Washingto n Road, then turn Turn off of East Springtown Road onto Schooley's Mo untain Park Road, towards picnic area and softball field. Make first r ight into large lot across from softball field area.\n \nFrom Norther n Points: Take I- 80 West to Exit 27A and continue south on US Route 2 06 for 8.0 miles.
