This moderate ly easy hike will start upriver in Stockton, take us along both sides of the Delaware River on the canal paths and mid-hike, we'll walk acro ss the river to Lambertville! Afterward, the group can vote on whether to return to the festival or go for a late lunch and drinks...either option is sure to be fun!\nPlease note that the Shad Festival runs fro m 12.30 to 5.30pm. Depending on the pace of our hike, we may or may no t hike right through the festival!\n\n\nMember Cost: $5 for the first 5 $10 for the next 6 to 25 $20 at the door\nNon-Member Cost: $20 onlin e and at the door.\n\nTickets: There are a limited number of tickets f or sale. Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kept at the doo r. All sales are final.\n\nSpecs: The hike is classified as easy/moder ate and is good for beginners. Length of the hike is about 7 miles lon g and we will walk at a moderate pace. The trail is level, so this is a good hike for beginners who want to try for additional mileage! The hike should take about 4 hours and will include a break when we reach New Hope/Lambertville. As with all hikes you must be in good, athletic shape.\n\nSweeper: If the group size is large we are going to look fo r a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the end of th e hike line and will make sure the group stays together.\n\nHike Leade r: Keira will be leading this hike. She will make sure the hike starts on time so please arrive on time.\n\nWhat to bring: Water (required).
