If you cannot make the new date send a refund request b y 11.20.12.\nThis 3,000 acre park, located adjacent to the D&R Canal, is an oasis of wetlands, forests, farmlands and old fields offering mi les of paths for hikers, bikers and horseback riders.  Originally tar geted as the site of a reservoir, the site remains open to the public to explore.  After the hike the group may go out for drinks and a lat e lunch.\n Member Cost: $5 for the first 5 $10 for the next 6 to 25 $ 20 at the door Non-Member Cost: $20 online and at the door. Specs: C lassified as moderate due to length, but is suitable for beginners. Le ngth of the hike will be about 6 miles. We will walk at a moderate pac e. It will take 2.5 – 3 hours. As with all hikes you must be in good , athletic shape. Sweeper: If the group size is larger than 10,  we are going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will w alk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays tog ether. Hike Leader: Keira will be leading this hike. What to bring: Hiking boots recommended. At least 2 liters of water (required). We wi ll stop for a snack about half way through the hike so we recommend yo u bring something to eat. We also recommend tissues, plastic bags for garbage, and similar items. Inclement Weather: Heavy precipitation wi ll cancel this hike; drizzle will not. From Route 206 in Hillsborough: Turn east onto Amwell Road , follow for 3.2 miles.  Turn right onto County Road 533/Main St/Mill stone River Road, follow for 2.1 miles.  Turn left onto Blackwell Roa d/Blackwells Mills Road.  Continue 0.3 miles – once you cross over the D&R Canal Bridge, turn right onto Canal Road.  The parking lot is on the left. From New Brunswick: Take Hamilton Street west for appro ximately 4 miles.  Hamilton Street becomes Amwell Road – continue f or approximately 4 miles on Amwell Road.  Once you cross over the D&R Canal Causeway, follow the directions from County Road 533/Main St/Mi llstone River Road above.
