Then meet up with other NJYPers a t Harriman State Park as we follow a path that will take us past old g rowth green forests, pristine vistas and beautiful overlooks of lush v alleys and distant cities. Together we will explore this vast, beautif ul place while getting in a workout. After the hike we may go out for a late lunch and  drinks so bring cash and get ready to work up an ap petite. \n\nMember Cost:$5 for the first 5 to buy a ticket$10 for the next 6-25 to buy a ticket$20 at the door (so please register online)N on-Member Cost:$20 online and at the doorTickets:Limited tickets are a vailable. All sales are final. Your name will be at the door if you bu y a ticket.Hike Leader:David will be leading this hike. David will not be waiting for late people. In fairness to those who arrive on time, the hike will start on time.Hike Specs:Classified as moderately strenu ous with a lot of uphill and downhill.7 miles long and we will walk at a moderate pace.4 hours from start to finish, depending on how people feel.As with all hikes you must be in good, athletic shape. This is N OT suitable for beginners.Sweeper:If the group size is larger than 10, we are going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers wi ll walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.What to bring:Hiking boots and 3 liters of water (required). Also recommended is non cotton clothing. Sunscreen and a light snack o r a small lunch.Inclement Weather:Heavy precipitation will cancel this hike; drizzle will not. Please check your inbox for updates. Tickets will be refunded.Directions:Head north on I-287. Follow I-287 until th e NY State border and follow the signs for I-87 North (also known as N Y State Thruway). Take exit 15A and make a left at the end of the exit ramp onto RT 17 North. Follow that for 2.5 miles and make a right tur n onto Seven Lakes Drive. Follow Seven Lakes Drive for 1.5 miles and y ou will see the visitor’s center to the right.
