Work off that Thanksgi ving Day meal (and the leftovers) with us on this moderate 5 mile hike . The fresh air and up and down hills will keep you healthy and strong while the Young Professionals who will be hiking by your side will ke ep you entertained. Afterwards we will venture out for a light lunch a nd warm drinks with new friends who were made along the way. PS, The f irst one to spot a turkey along the trail will win a ticket to a futur e hike.\n\nMember Cost: $5 for the first 10 $10 for the next 11 to 25 $20 at the door Non-Member Cost: $20 online and at the door. Tickets: There are a limited number of Tickets for sale. Tickets are not mailed , but your name will be kept at the door. All sales are final. Specs: The hike is classified as moderate and is about 5.2 miles long. The hi ke should take about 3 hours. As with all hikes you must be in good, a thletic shape. Hike Leader: David will be leading this hike. David wil l not be waiting for late people.  In fairness to those who arrive on time, the hike will start on time. Sweeper: If the group size is larg er than 10, we are going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together. What to bring: Hiking boots and water (required) . Snacks, a light lunch, etc. Toilet paper, tissues, plastic bags for garbage, etc. Non-cotton layers to wear. Extreme heat may also cancel this hike. Directions: Take Interstate Route 287 South to Exit 47 (Montville, Lincoln Park), and turn left at the botto m of the ramp onto Main Road (U.S. Route 202). Continue on Main Road a s the road makes two sharp turns – first to the left, then to the ri ght. In 0.6 mile, just before reaching a fire station, turn right onto Taylortown Road. Continue on Taylortown Road for 1.8 miles until it e nds at Boonton Avenue (County Route 511). Turn right onto Boonton Aven ue and continue for 0.7 mile to the entrance to the Pyramid Mountain C ounty Park Natural Historic Area, on the left side of the road, opposi te the Mars Park Corporate Center.
