Work off that Thanksgi ving Day meal (and the leftovers) with us on this moderate 5 mile hike . The fresh air and up and down hills will keep you healthy and strong while the Young Professionals who will be hiking by your side will ke ep you entertained. Afterwards we will venture out for a light lunch a nd warm drinks with new friends who were made along the way. PS, The f irst one to spot a turkey along the trail will win a ticket to a futur e hike.\n \n\n\n\nMember Cost: $10 online $20 at the door Non-Member Cost: $20 online and at the door. Tickets: There are a limited number of Tickets for sale. Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kep t at the door. All sales are final. Specs: The hike is classified as m oderate and is about 5.2 miles long. The hike should take about 3 hour s. As with all hikes you must be in good, athletic shape. Hike Leader: David will be leading this hike. David will not be waiting for late p eople.  In fairness to those who arrive on time, the hike will start on time. Sweeper: If the group size is larger than 10, we are going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the e nd of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together. What to bring: Hiking boots and water (required). Snacks, a light lunch, et c. Toilet paper, tissues, plastic bags for garbage, etc. Non-cotton la yers to wear. Extreme heat may also cancel this h ike. Directions: Take Interstate Route 287 South to Exit 47 (Montville , Lincoln Park), and turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto Main Roa d (U.S. Route 202). Continue on Main Road as the road makes two sharp turns – first to the left, then to the right. In 0.6 mile, just befo re reaching a fire station, turn right onto Taylortown Road. Continue on Taylortown Road for 1.8 miles until it ends at Boonton Avenue (Coun ty Route 511). Turn right onto Boonton Avenue and continue for 0.7 mil e to the entrance to the Pyramid Mountain County Park Natural Historic Area, on the left side of the road, opposite the Mars Park Corporate Center.
