We will travel up Turkey Mountain until we get to our g oal, the panoramic viewpoint that is picture worthy! Bring a camera, b ring a snack, and bring you want for the great outdoors and new friend s. Post-hike the group traditionally goes out for cold drinks and a la te lunch.\n\n\n\nMember Cost:\n$5 for the first 5\n$10 for the next 6 to 25\n$20 at the door\n\nNon-Member Cost:\n$20 online and at the door .\n\nTickets:\nThere are a limited number of Tickets for sale. Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kept at the door. All sales are final.\n\nSpecs:\nThe hike is classified as moderate and is about 5.2 miles long.\nThe hike should take about 3 hours.\nAs with all hikes y ou must be in good, athletic shape.\n\nSweeper:\nIf the group is large we are going to look for 2 volunteers to act as sweepers. Sweepers wi ll walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.\n\nHike Leader:\nNoah will be leading this hike.\n\nWhat to bring:\nHiking boots and water (required).\nSnacks, a light lunch, et c.\nToilet paper, tissues, plastic bags for garbage, etc.\n\nInclement Weather:\nDrizze will not cancel this hike but heavy rain may. Extreme heat may also cancel this hike.\n\nDirections:\nT ake Interstate Route 287 South to Exit 47 (Montville, Lincoln Park), a nd turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto Main Road (U.S. Route 202) . Continue on Main Road as the road makes two sharp turns – first to the left, then to the right. In 0.6 mile, just before reaching a fire station, turn right onto Taylortown Road. Continue on Taylortown Road for 1.8 miles until it ends at Boonton Avenue (County Route 511).
