 e, Haskell, NJ\nRating: 3.5\n \nDescription: Visit the lesser-known, 
 secret side to the Ramapo Reservation.  We’ll visit a pretty lake, 
 have fantastic views of faraway lands and even visit the ruins of an a
 bandoned castle. \n \nOptional lunch nearby at Thatcher Mcghee’s\n
 Hike Leader: David will be leading this hike.\n \nSpecs: The hike is 
 classified as moderately strenuous with a few big uphill and downhill 
 parts, although much of the trail has gently rolling terrain.  We wil
 l be hiking a total of about 6.0 miles and will take approx. 3.5 - 4 h
 ours.\n \nAs with all hikes you must be in good, athletic shape.  Th
 is is NOT suitable for beginner hikers unless you are in good shape.\n
  \nNote:  David will not be waiting for late people.  In fairness t
 o those who arrive on time, the hike will start on time.\n \nSweeper:
  If the group size is larger than 10, we are going to look for a volun
 teer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike li
 ne and will make sure the group stays together.\n \nWhat to bring: Hi
 king boots and 2 liters of water (required).  We recommend a light sn
 ack to keep your appetite satisfied. Please make sure you have a bag t
 o carry out your garbage.\n \nInclement Weather: Any precipitation be
 yond a drizzle will cancel this hike. Tickets will be refunded.\n \nD
 irections: Take 287 North or South to exit 55. If you took 287 South, 
 make a right at the end of the exit ramp then a left onto Ringwood Ave
 .  If you took 287 North, make a right at the end of the exit ramp an
 d you will be on Ringwood Ave.  Follow Ringwood Ave for about 1 mile 
 then make a right onto 4th Ave. Follow 4th Ave until you get to Back B
