This twilight hike will l ikely feature friendly furry critters that tend to come out as the sun goes down. But regardless of whether we spot any wild things there wi ll be beautiful woodlands, ponds, and meadows to gaze upon. After we h ave all earned our happy hour we will head over to a local bar for din ner and drinks. ~ The first person to spot a deer and point it out to David will earn a complimentary future hike ~ Specs: This easy hike is good for beginners! 4.5 miles in 2 hours at an easy pace. As with all hikes you must be in reasonable athletic shape.\n Member Cost: $5 for the first 10 to buy a ticket $10 for the next 11-25 to buy a ticket $ 20 at the door (so please register online) Non-Member Cost: $20 online and at the door Sweeper: If the group size is larger than 10, we are going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays togethe r. Hike Leader: David will be leading this hike. David will not be wai ting for late people. In fairness to those who arrive on time, the hik e will start on time. What to bring: Hiking boots are strongly recomme nded and 2 liters of water is required. Hiking boots will help keep th e mud out of your feet when hiking as the trail may have a few wet spo ts. Inclement Weather: Heavy precipitation and/or high temps will canc el this hike. Follow North Maple Ave (it will become South Maple Ave) fo r approx 2.4 -2.6 miles and make a left onto Lord Stirling Rd.
