DESCRIPTION:We need MANY volunteers for our YP Blood Drive! Please rev
 iew the volunteer position descriptions below then click \"Put Down a 
 Deposit\". You can volunteer AND donate blood. Please just pick a bloo
 d donation time that is NOT during your volunteer shift.\n\n\n\nDeposi
 ts:\nBecause they are relying on us we are asking that all volunteers 
 put down a FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $10.21. The $10.21 will be retu
 rned to all who attend the event. Cancellations will be accepted up un
 til noon on the day before the volunteering event.\n\nSchedule:\nThere
  will be 2 volunteer shifts. If you want to stay all night please sign
  up for both shifts by putting a deposit down twice.\nShift A 4:45 to 
 7:30pm\nShift B 7:15 to 10:15pm\n\nWhat to wear:\nPlease try to wear a
  BLACK top so that you stand out as a volunteer. Everyone will also ge
 t name tags but wearing black will certainly help guests distinguish w
 ho you are.\n\nTASKS\n\nRegistration Table\nThose at registration will
  check people in and hand out the goodie bags. You should be friendly 
 and outgoing.\n\nFloater\nThis person will fill in any gaps we may hav
 e and when there are no gaps they will mingle in the Mocktail Room mak
 ing sure that everything is going smoothly.\n\nCanteen\nCanteen volunt
 eers are very important. Along with serving juice and cookies these vo
 lunteers are going to keep a close eye on donors right after they give
  blood. If there are any reactions, these volunteers have to be on the
 ir toes and get a nurse or a nurse manager ASAP. If someone doesn’t 
 feel well a lot of the time they don’t tell you, so we have to use o
 ur judgment to say hey that girl looks pale, and go over and ask her i
 f she is ok, even if she says yes, sometimes we have to say, you know 
 what, you don’t look so great, why don’t you come and lay down.\n\
