SUMMARY:Volunteer: Food Bank in Hillside
DESCRIPTION:Let's meet-up to help the Food Bank of NJ. As a team we wi
 ll be working in the Food Bank warehouse: sorting and re-packing food 
 items, sorting children's clothes for underprivileged kids or re-stock
 ing school supplies in the Kids' Division. After we bond over non-peri
 shable items everyone will be encouraged to attend a late lunch at a n
 earby restaurant (always a blast).\n\nWhat to BRING:\nFood supplies ar
 e at an all time low. All volunteers are asked to bring ONE food item.
 \nCanned tuna, Canned soups, Mac & cheese, Peanut butter in plastic ja
 rs, Spaghetti sauce, Pasta, Cereal, Canned vegetables\n\nWhat to wear:
 \nThink comfortable. Jeans, t-shirt and sweatshirt are fine. Dress in 
 layers in the winter. No open-toed shoes, sandals or flip flops. Pleas
 e wear shoes or sneakers. No good jewelry. Please leave all purses, ba
 ckpacks, iPods and other valuables locked in your cars. Bring work glo
 ves if you desire.\n\nSchedule:\n11:25 Meet-up with the volunteer host

 s (optional)\n\nDeposits:\nBecause the Food Bank is relying on us we a
 re asking that all volunteers put down a FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $
 9.19. The $9.19 will be returned to all who attend the event. Cancella
 tions will be accepted (and deposits refunded) up until noon on the da

 the Community Food Bank of NJ:\n\"Using our own fleet of trucks, we pi
 ck up large-scale donations from hundreds of corporations in New Jerse
 y. The FoodBank is the state's largest provider of donated groceries t
 o charities, shipping up to 24 million pounds of food annually to 1,50
 0 food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters and other programs i
 n 18 counties. The FoodBank also distributes government-donated U.S. A
 griculture Department food product.\"\n\nParking:\nParking is availabl
 e along the length of the building; please do not block loading docks
