Please rev iew the volunteer position descriptions below then click \"Put Down a Deposit\". You can volunteer AND donate blood. Please just pick a bloo d donation time that is NOT during your volunteer shift.\n\nDeposits:\ nBecause they are relying on us we are asking that all volunteers put down a FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $10.44. The $10.44 will be returned to all who attend the event. Cancellations will be accepted up until noon on the day before the volunteering event.\n\n\nRSVP (to the right ) and we will let you know when tix are almost gone, when prices are g oing up, if there are any changes, etc.\n\nSchedule:\nThere will be 2 volunteer shifts. If you want to stay all night please sign up for bot h shifts by putting a deposit down twice.\nShift A 4:45 to 7:30pm\nShi ft B 7:15 to 10:15pm\n\nWhat to wear:\nPlease try to wear a BLACK top so that you stand out as a volunteer. Everyone will also get nanme tag s but wearing black will certainly help guests distinguish who you are .\n\nTASKS\n\nGreeters\nGreeters will be the first point of contact fo r our guests. We need friendly personable people here who will welcome the guests as they arrive and direct them to where they need to go ne xt. Greeters will also be creating name tags.\n\nRegistration Table\nT hose at registration will check people in and hand out the goodie bags .\n\nScheduler\nThe scheduler will work with the registration table an d will notify those on the back-end regarding who has arrived. This pe rson will have to walk back and forth between the two areas.\n\nGlass Doors\nThese volunteers will re-welcome those that just donated back i nto the party room. They will thank them, check in with how they are f eeling, answer questions, etc. You need to have outstanding customer s ervice skills for this station.\n\nFloater\nThis person will fill in a ny gaps we may have and when there are no gaps they will mingle in the Mocktail Room making sure that everything is going smoothly.\n\nCante en\nCanteen volunteers are very important. Along with serving juice an d cookies these volunteers are going to keep a close eye on donors rig ht after they give blood. If there are any reactions, these volunteers have to be on their toes and get a nurse or a nurse manager ASAP.
