SUMMARY:Volunteering: Giving Gardens
DESCRIPTION:This event is perfect for the garden lover in all of us! W
 e will be meeting up to plant, weed, spread wood chips, stake tomatoes
 , or cultivate. It all depends on how far along the gardens are by our
  volunteer date. And the best part? The program we are supporting give
 s all the produce to New Jersey’s needy. So, if you are up for a few
  hours of hard but rewarding work outdoors please REGISTER (sorry, no 
 party crashers).\n\n\nRSVP (to the right) and we will let you know whe
 n tix are almost gone, when prices are going up, if there are any chan
 ges, etc.\n\nDeposits:\nBecause they are relying on us we are asking t
 hat all volunteers put down a FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $6.99. The $
 6.99 will be returned to all who attend the event. Cancellations will 
 be accepted up until noon on the day before the event.\n\nWhat to brin
 g:\nWATER (required), sun block, hat, garden gloves, snacks.\nBring a 
 bagged lunch and at 1pm we can find a shady tree to eat under before h
 eading home.\nWear clothes that can get dirty.\n\nAbout the Giving Gar
 dens Project:\nhttp://www.wfafnj.org/ggp.html\nThe purpose of the (GGP
 ) Giving Gardeners Project is to produce vegetables, dedicated to feed
  the poor and needy, which will be distributed through agencies such a
 s SHIP, Food Bank Network of Somerset County, Star Fish, soup kitchens
 , Second Harvest, and other appropriate agencies. The gardens are grow
 n on plots donated by Wagner Farms Arboretum Foundation (WFAF) and ten
 ded entirely by volunteers.\n\nHost Needed:\nElizabeth will be hosting
