Is this event sold out? Haven't decided for sure yet but I don't see any tickets available. Also found a link mentioning a permanent closure of the "mine trail" is this the same trail? http://www.nynjtc.org/news/trailhead-closed-mine-trailwyanokie-circ...

Dave, I couldn't have said it better myself.

Come join me in exploring the beauty and majesty of Norvin Green in this early spring adventure! We'll start by the parking lot of the Weis Ecology Center and we'll pass by some interesting features such as: an old abandoned iron mine, old mining ruins as we work our way to the summit of the trail which offers a wonderful 360 degree viewpoint which will be the perfect place to rest for lunch!

A post-hike event will take place at Thatcher Mcgee's in nearby Pompton Lakes. More info can be found here: http://www.thatchermcghees.com/
