Event Description
Once again we are going to participate in the Jimmy D 5k Walk/Run! This is one of our most favorite charitable events because at the end of the race we are greeted by an awesome free BBQ and free beer. Traditionally the NJYP group sticks around for an hour or two post-race for food, drinks, and of course conversation.
Registration:
Pre-Registration until 8/27/10 $20.00
8/27/10 or after $25.00
USATF members $18.00
Post Race Party:
As always we are going to gather at the picnic tables for our post-race celebration. There will be free food and free all you can drink beer.
If you are the first to finish grab us a table and squat down! Call everyone over and we will fill it and probably fill another table as well.
About:
This yearly event is in memory of James D'heron and raises funds to support the Saint Barnabas Burn Center and The Art Luf Children's Burn Camp. You can read more about the foundation here, http://www.jimmyd5k.com/default.asp
How to Find Us:
Pick up your packet (expect a long line) then meet the group on the sidewalk in front of the New Brunswick High School on Livingston Ave at 8:30. We will only wait for everyone until 8:45. If you miss this meeting slot you may have a very hard time finding us amongst the crowd.
Parking:
Free parking all over. Grab any spot you can.

Thanks to Jen for hosting! Remember to meet in front of the high school. This way everyone can see who to look for post-race.
Post-race meet at the picnic tables. Work hard to save tables for the group and find each other.
