Event Description

All you need to do is show up and we will send you home with a self-made piece of art and new friends.  Yup, your ticket cost covers all the painting supplies (including the 16" by 20" canvas), guided instruction by an art teacher, and of course adult beverages (bring your ID).  No talent needed, no experience necessary, and no one goes home without new friends.

$30 for the first 10 to register online
$35 for the next 11 to 27 to register online

Non-Member Cost:
$40 online

What to Bring:
* Your ID.
* If you do not like wine you can bring beer.
* Clothes that may get messy.

What you Get:
* Adult beverages.
* Your art (an acrylic painting on a 16" x 20" cotton canvas).
* All the painting supplies you will need (from easels to aprons).
* Group instruction on what to do (we will all be painting the same thing).

Who can Attend:
This is a private event for the Members of NJYP and their guests.  Everyone must be 21 to 39 years old.

Great!  I was really disappointed that I couldn't go this week.  I hope I can make the next one.  I wish I had joined earlier- I loved your painting of the orange background with the bird on the branch.  Hoping to join the group on one of these outings soon...

We will be painting a rendition of Edvard Munch's "The Scream" ... It's quite a famous painting, and one which I think will be really fun to do!

Janet, you are correct... Acrylic dries fast and there is a lot of layering involved, so I have found that it works the best.
