Move over surfer dudes, the Young Professionals are taking over the beach and the waves! This event is for those who already know the ways of the ocean and those who are just starting out. We will be dividing up into two groups, basically the newbies vs the experienced surfers. In the end all will walk (or surf) away with new salt air loving friends.

EXPERIENCED SURFERS
Yes, we do mean those who do NOT need any sort of lesson. From 10:15 to 10:30 you will gather in front of Aloha Grove. Kevin and Peter (your hosts) will then lead everyone into the surf. If you do not arrive on time you will have a hard time finding the group so please be prompt. Aloha Grove rents out boards if you need one. If there is no surf this part of the event will be canceled (lessons below will not be canceled due to bad surf).

NEWBIES
From 10:15 to 10:30 you will gather in front of Aloha Grove. A group lesson is $35 per person for a 1 hour lesson and $70 for a 2 hour lesson. The price includes everything you need; all you need to do is show up in a bathing suit. To participate in this event YOU MUST CALL Aloha Grove and tell them you are with the NJYP Group (10:30am lesson). Let them know if you want 1 or 2 hours. If you wait to sign up it may SELL OUT. This is a “Members Only” FREE event. You must be a Member, aka you paid your Membership Dues. Please RSVP for updates.
