Event Description
Please ask for Zakkiyya and/or NJYP at the check-in table. They are not allowing us to hang NJYP signs so you MUST ask in order to be placed with the group.
Let's meet-up to help with the 2014 Teaneck Pack-a-thon for Haiti. As a team we will be assembling packages full of rice, dried vegetables, and supplements to help aid those in Haiti. After we bond over manual labor everyone will be encouraged to stick around to grab lunch or a drink.
How to Attend:
Please RSVP on the right if you are able to attend.
Who:
Anyone 21 to 39 years old may attend.
What to wear and bring:
Wear clothes that you will be comfortable standing and working in for a few hours. No need to bring anything with you.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the Packathon today. We ended up packing 125,040 meals to send to Haiti. This will feed all the children at the 2 schools we support for 1 year!

Hey everyone! Here is a note from the organizer to our volunteers:
"We are getting very close to the Teaneck Packathon date--next Saturday, November 15th. Thank you for being on our team this year. Our goal for the day is to pack 125,000 meals for the school children in Trois Mares and Chapottin, Haiti. We expect hundreds of volunteers to make that happen. Here are a few details to help us get you packing as soon as possible:
1. Your time slot is from 9 am to 11 am. Please arrive at 8:45 am.
2. We will be meeting at the Grace Lutheran Church located at 1200 River Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666.
3. It’s not too late to help us make our financial goal! If you are able, please donate towards the "groceries" for this amazing event. Visit teaneckpackathon.orgto donate online. We will also have a donation table available when you check in.

Hi Zee, if you are registered here already, you do not need to register on the website as well. I will be there at the registration table when you all arrive and will get the NJYPers to a table together.
