Much like myself and the Marines, Camp Happy Times is looking for a "few good men"! The Valerie Fund’s Camp Happy Times is a one-week sleep-away camp experience for children aged 5-17 who have or have had cancer.  The camp is located in Tyler Hill, Pennsylvania in the Pocono Mountains area.  Camp is a week of fun and activities where these children can develop self-confidence and make friends who share a common bond- the cancer experience.

Camp Happy Times is in need of male counselors!  These volunteer cabin counselors spend the week with a group of children, guiding them through their daily routines including meals, activities and bedtime.  Counselors serve as role models and friends and often have just as much fun as the kids do! We are looking for men aged 22 and up who love working with kids.  The ideal candidates will be patient, flexible and ready to have fun.  We offer accommodations, meals and a week you will never forget!  This year Camp Happy Times will be held from August 16-22^nd.  For more information visit our website www.thevaleriefund.org  and click on Camp Happy Times under Programs and Services.  There is an application you can download right on this page.
