Add an Event?

I see a couple spots on the site where it mentions adding your own event. However, I can't seem to find a link to add an event. Let me know if there is a link that I'm missing. Thanks!

I've been debating about how events should be added....

A tab under the main Events tab?
A separate tab like Jobs?
A separate forum?

Whatever I do it can't be like the events page we are using for Official events.. it would have to something that works by letting people "add comments" or post.

A tab under Events I think would work well. Like the "+Add Photos" button.

I'd love to post my gallery show as an unofficial event, instead of plugging the forums :).

would have to say, I agree w/ Paul. I have events i'd love to post too, somewhere.

OK, I set-up a temporary solution for "Unofficial" events. It is not in calendar form but it's the best I can do until I find a good, free Calendar Widget or until a non-free solution fits my budget.

It would be great if we could set up unofficial events that people can RSVP to, like on the old site. Also, if we could keep them separate from other things that are mainly just advertising. Just an idea. I love the new site though, there is much more to do here than on the other one. :)
