Anyone have any tips for someone trying to start a career in marketing?

I am currently trying to break into the field of Marketing, however I'm not really sure how to start. I have my bachelors degree in Psychology and plenty of experience in the mental health field. Any suggestions ?

Try for something in HR or PR for a health company, particularly one for psychology or psychiatry.  An example might be a foundation for the awareness of mental disorders.
