Attention Monmouth County Dog Owners!

There is a new off-leash dog park located at Thompson Grove Park in Manalapan. It is Open to the public, but they haven't had the "official" grand opening for it yet. It features two 10,000 SF fenced-in areas (one for larger dogs, one for smaller ones).

I'm hoping to get the word out so that my dog doesn't have to play off-leash by himself there anymore! I believe it's open from 8am-dusk. There is no potable water fountains at the site, so bring water!

Thompson Grove Park is a 64-acre municipal park located in the southern portion of the Manalapan Township. The park is bordered by the 22-acre Millhurst Pond, with small trails that are also dog friendly (on-leash). Thompson Grove Park is most easily reached from Route 33. Take Sweetman's Lane and turn left onto Kinney Road. Proceed to the first right, which is Thompson Grove Road. The entrance to the park is approximately 100 yards on the right. The dog park is just past the entrance on the left side.
