Does anyone know an affordable place to buy fresh fruits and veggies downtown in Hoboken?

The stuff at A&P isn't that fresh, and is still expensive. Additionally, I'm looking for some specialty stores that will have more unique vegetables and tropical fruits. I heard that there was an asian supermarket nearby but I don't have a car. If anyone has any good tips I would really appreciate it!
