Wohoo!! I love blogging and bloggers - great way to learn a lot about other people.

I'm Melissa - I blog about the interesting things in life, from a unique perspective. I also belief that we can all learn from eachother's journeys, so I'm just taking notes on mine.

Thanks for posting this, Jahnavi.

I've been trying to get many of my friends on the blogging bandwagon, but many are hesitant (some are lazy, and others just aren't strong writers). I've been blogging since May 2010, and I've got about 35 posts up. Most of them are centered around different rants/problems/communication issues (which I teach), and music (my true love in life). I've been told that I could somehow make money doing this, but I don't know how. And have also been told to become a published author. Again, not sure how. But writing is definitely my forte.

My blog is very sassy and funny, and I usually post the links for my facebook friends only, but since you posted the discussion, I'm happy to share my URL with you all. Butterflies and Bitches, Unabashedly.

Welcome to the discussion. I just read your post about the workout music. I love that song "we no speak Americano".

There are ways to make money with blogs. you can try the google adsense for a start. They place ads on your blog and whenever someone clicks on it, you get a %. You can read more about it when you log into your blog. There should be a tab called Monetize. Check it out. Also there are blogger communities you can join to find out about more opportunities. I've just started to join some to learn more. Hope this helps.

So I joined this website for Twenty Something Bloggers that I heard about from a friend blogger. It's 20sb.net - great way to find more bloggers, because let's face it - As much as our friends love us they don't all enjoy reading blogs (or reading period), so rather than trying so hard, this group has thousands of people who love to blog. I've found a couple great blogs on there, including:
