Happy New Year Everyone!!

Callin' out all Foodies. We need your input on our blog. My idea was to promote Indian cooking to all who are new and unaware about this cuisine. Over the years, I've gotten some feedback about how Indian cooking requires too many ingredients or that it is very laborious. Well my friends, I have recently started a cooking blog with my mom to show "the audience" how some substitutions can still create full flavored entrees and desserts.

this is very cool -- I will definitely come back to this blog! I love cooking and have wanted to find some healthy, easy Indian recipes to try and now I have some! And bonus: I LOVE Vatan and Penang (I think, didn't the one in SoHo close?) so I'm thinking I will probably like what you like. Thanks for posting!

Hi Bis, let me know how it comes out and share your experience on the blog. We love comments from our followers.

great idea, will be checking this out, and hopefully will use some of these recipes...the Tandoori Tofu, is right around my alley, and plan to try it.
Hi there,

Just wanted to drop by and let you know, we've added more recipes and continually working on making the site easy to use.

Feel free to share any comments or suggestions. We love to hear from our readers.

Thanks,
Jahnavi,

I quickly looked at it. I think by doing some more work on http://www.indiankhanamadeeasy.com
you can provide step by step more details for everyone (This will specifically help any non indian). Also it's good idea to provide some local indian grocery store in NJ where they can get some stuff and give them exact name of item so it's easy to find.

Good start and keep in touch!
thanks for your feedback.
This is a cool idea. I enjoy Indian food.
I try to make our blog as fun and informational as possible. If you'd like to stay tuned, you can check back on my profile for the latest posts (post about 3-5 depending on festivals and recipes we've perfected).

We had a big Thanksgiving party this year and have a lot to share. We tried to incorporate a lot of traditional ingredients from this holiday into our cooking: pumpkins, sweet potatoes, cranberries, green beans, potatoes, lots of spices and loads more.

Hi everyone,

Best wishes for all over the holidays!! Don't forget to stop by our blog for holiday ideas. Also, we have added a couple of new pages: Aapka Khana and Our Dining Out Guide. Aapka Khana is all about the recipes you've tried from our site and loved and want to show it off. We already have two submissions from one of our regular visitors. The Dining Out Guide is a list of restaurants and joints we've been to all over the world.  We've listed the dishes we've tried and loved...

If you guys have places you would like us to seek out so we can give our reviews, let us know.

Happy Holidays!!

Hi,

I took a quick look at your blog and I really love the lay-out. The pictures of the ingredients are great and I appreciate the fact that I can get many of the ingredients at my local supermarket. The restaurant guide is great too. I'll have to try Bombay Spice, since I have some coupons. The tab navigation is great too.

I would love to learn more about where to purchase some of the spices, dals and flours you write about. In addition, I would love to know more about the Indian supermarkets throughout New Jersey -- which ones are worth visiting and what's worth buying.

Hi glad to know you are enjoying our blog. I will be posting information about the Indian supermarkets soon enough. Trying to make the site fun and interesting for everyone.

Thanks for your feedback.
