Hey- I'm new to this group, so I'm not sure if anyone has done Grounds for Sculpture yet. But it's beautiful in spring, so I wanted to toss that out there for an event idea.

Grounds for Sculpture is a great place. I went there a few years during the Summer. That would be a really great idea for spring.
glad you like the idea! Spring is perfect- there's a lot of walking- so it's the perfect temperature, not too hot, not too cold. :-)
It is a nice place and the added benefit of getting good exercise there while enjoying the sculpture art and scenery and the spring temperatures are a plus too.
I was there last year. It is very interesting and fun.
that's a great idea karen- I don't know what others would like, but for me, it's easier to tour the Grounds on a weekend- we also might get more people that way.
I've been wanting to check it out too, someone suggest a date or dates and we'll see what works. Weekends definitely better for me.
The second week of May- does that work?
The Second week in May would work for me. I also would prefer it be a weekend and Saturday would be the best weekend day for it.
I love GFS, and usually try to visit at least once a year to check out the changes/additions. Mid May should work for me, and the weekend definitely works best.
argh, I can't do the second weekend in May. How do poeple feel about the third wekeend -- either the 15th or 16th? Sundays tend to be more open for me.
I was going to say- I'm totally on the same page with you, Deborah. Third weekend in May sounds better, Sunday for me too. So...how do we go about making an 'event' of this?
I could do the Third week in May, although I would prefer a Saturday rather than a Sunday.
