My name is Jason. I've been a member of NJYP for a while now but since most of the events are on week days I've never been to any! I was wondering what everyone is up to on the weekends. I live between Princeton and New Brunswick and work in NYC.

Hey Jason! I'm in the same boat. I work in NYC and as much as I would love to make it out to the week day events my schedule prevents that from happening. I have made it to some of the weekend events though. I know some people have put together or are in the process of putting together various weekend events here on the Forum. I'm always down if people want to get together on the weekends to do something either in New Brunswick, Red Bank, NYC, Hoboken, etc....
Hoboken always makes for a good weekend! I'm usually around Princeton. I've been looking for new places to go outside of Princeton though. Have you ever been to Hotoke in New Brunswick? I've wanted to go there for a while
I work in NYC too, so haven't done any weekday events, but there are lots of weekend ones to check out. I'm going to the Food Bank one this Saturday. And as someone else said, read through the forum -- we're planning an ice skating afternoon on the 17th and some other are coordinating to go snowshoeing in late January or February. Check those out!
Seems I'm going to have to check on the forums more often!
We could see if anyone might be interested in doing something in NYC after work on a Friday night if there are no events going on. Or maybe we can get together after work in NYC for drinks sometime.
I would be up to meeting up in NYC after work on a Friday night or any night as I am a legal intern at a firm in the financial district (downtown) of Manhattan and it's tough to get to events in New Brunswick on the weekdays with the commute. I live in Middlesex County and am a Rutgers Alum so I'm familiar with places such as Harvest Moon in New Brunswick.

I work in Midtown but would be open to anything. I'm not sure how many people would be interested in a night out in NYC since it seems like a lot of people already live around big cities in NJ, but it's worth a shot. I live in Middlesex County as well.
