**You can order online at www.pamperedchef.biz/ruthkitchen and enter Autism as the organization. 25% of your purchase will be donated to the Autsim Speaks in Honor of Tristen Alford for the increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders, as well as funding research into the causes, prevention and treatments for autism.**

I am currently holding an ONLINE fundraiser to raise money for Autism Speaks to benefit Autism awareness and resources. Who loves Pampered Chef?? Who would love to raise some money for this great cause?? You CAN by purchasing Pampered Chef products from my website. 25% of your order total will be donated to the Autsim Speaks in Honor of Tristen Alford.

My goal is that we raise $500 for them. That means that the total fundraiser sales need to be $2,000. I have over 500 FB Friends. If even 100 of them each spent $20, we would reach our goal!! If 50 fans spent $40 each... You get the idea. :) I'm sure we can all stock up on our spices and rubs, sweet cinnamon sprinkle, or how about some of the amazing kitchen tools? Why not buy something nice for yourself, knowing that you are helping children who have been affected by Autism? Everybody who orders something today, will have an extra suprise added to their order from me, for FREE. :) Order online at www.pamperedchef.biz/ruthkitchen and enter "Autism" as the organization.

Please share this fundraiser with everybody, so that we can raise as much money as possible for those affected by Autism.

Purchase The Pampered Chef® products, and *25% of your purchase will be donated to the Autism Speaks®. In addition to *25% of the total sales, Autism Speak will receive $3 for every future Show booked from the "Autism Fundraiser".
(*Autism Fundraiser Sales % Donated
$150 to $299 total sales= 15%
$300 to $499 total sales= 20%
$500 or more total sales= 25%)

I have no doubt that we will reach a collective total of $500 in sales, and get the full 25% donation.

Make sure to check out our "Mother's Day Gift Pack" products that are sold exclusively for this fundraiser! (Under "Guest Specials" on my website.)

Those attending were asked to make a donation to Autism Speaks in Honor of Tristen Alford, the leading organization dedicated to increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders, as well as funding research into the causes, prevention and treatments for autism.

Autism is a general term used to describe a group of complex developmental brain disorders known as Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD).

According to Autism Speaks, approximately one in every 110 children is diagnosed with autism, making it more prevalent than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes, and pediatric AIDS combined. In the United States alone, an estimated 1.5 million individuals are affected by autism.

Early diagnosis and treatment are key to helping a child with autism because if treated, children with autism can lead the same lives as their peers, according to Austism Speaks.

Kids like Tristen, “may have a disability, [but] can still reach their full potential,” as per CDC.

Case in point being current American Idol contestant James Durbin. A local from Santa Cruz, Durbin has been considered a champion of sorts for those afflicted with Tourette's Syndrome and Asperger's Syndrome, a developmental disorder that is on the autism spectrum.

Some mothers, such as myself, simply wish that my child can just be themselves and live as normal a childhood as possible.

Thank you everyone!
