Hi all!

I just joined and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Crystal and I've lived in Montclair all my life so I've known the same people in the town forever! I'm just looking to meet new people and have some good times! I work in New York and go to a lot of events in the city. Even though I live in Montclair, I haven't experienced all Essex County has to offer. Looking forward to getting more involved!

Hi Crystal =) I grew up in Montclair/ Glen Ridge however my friends all now live other places. I would love to know more local people as it gets tiring to always be heading out to nyc to go out. There are a few newer restaurants in Montclair that I have been curious to check out.
Hi Nicole! We should meet up one day! I love all the restaurants in Mtc!

Hey Crystal,

I don't live up there, but welcome to NJYP. If you are interested a few people are going to Veggie Heaven on Tuesday to grab some dinner. Check out the forum :)
Thanks for the welcome you guys! You should definitely make your way to Church Street, there are a lot of new places that have opened up that are fantastic. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the happy hours this fall.

Hey Crystal, I live in West Caldwell but frequent Montclair alot. I'm actually in the process of finding an apartment around Montclair or Verona. I agree with Nicole on restaurants. I've been on an ethnic restaurant kick (been to Indian, Ethiopian, Peruvian, Thai, Cuban) in the past year along Bloomfield Avenue. Everything has been pretty good and love that most places are BYOB.

In the fall I'm sure there will be some essex county events. I recommend checking out a happy hour first then move onto other events. They're low-key and not as overwhelming/crowded as the parties.
