Hi. I have noticed over time that fewer and fewer events are in Monmouth and Ocean counties until now there are none. So I'm just putting this out there to see if we can find enough members to start having events "down the shore" again. Let me know if you are interested too.

I'd definitely be interested in having events in monmouth county.
I don't live in Monmouth County but I love the area. As long as I can get out of work early enough to make it back to Jersey I'd be game.
Putting out another post to get this discussion more attention. I know there has to be more "Shore" people. :)
Hi Rhandi,

We've definitely lost momentum in Monmouth County. Give me a shout if you'd like to partner on an event. This is the perfect time of year for happy hour at Dublin House or The Downtown in Red Bank.

Jim
Hi Rhandi- I live in Ocean County and would def like to see some events around our area.
Hi Jim,

Consider this a shout out. :) When do you think is a good date for a happy hour, maybe sometime in the next week or two?

I can definitely do Monmouth County. I'd like to see events in Red Bank again at least.
Hi Rhandi,

How's about Wednesday, October 21st? That gives our fellow NJYPers a chance to RSVP and it doesn't conflict with any local events. We've had events at Red and Echo (now defunct), but I think that Dublin House or Teak would be nice.

What do you think?

I'm ok with the 21st. I like the idea of going to Teak. It's right next to a parking lot. It has cool drinks and couches. I guess we mention it here and on the Jersey Out page as an unofficial NJYP event and see who wants to come?

Jim- If you volunteer to host I'll make it official, Oct 29th at the bar of your choice.
I love the Downtown and Dublin House in Red Bank. I also agree w/ Tracy's suggestion about doing something in Asbury. I know one of the bartenders at the Langosta Lounge, and I'm a HUGE fan of the Brick Wall Tavern on Cookman Ave.
Hi Laura,

I'll gladly host along with Rhandi, as she truly spearheaded the Monmouth County meet-up. If my fellow NJYPers agree, I'd suggest that we host the event at Teak in Red Bank on October 29th (as you suggested.) Red Bank is easily within reach for our Middlesex County members, and once the Jersey Shore crew gains some momentum I'm all about an event in Asbury Park.

Let me know if this works for you.
