Master's Degrees Graphic Design / Marketing - Monmouth County area or telecommute?

Hello Everyone!

I'm looking for a Masters Degree Program in my area (Monmouth County, have not had much luck) or via telecommute. I've looked in the MA in Corporate and Public Communications at Monmouth U and it's not the type of degree I'd like for where I'd like my career to go - the Art Director route.

Was wondering if anyone knew of any programs I could apply to, to fit my needs?

MA in Graphic Design with a track in Marketing would be ideal for me.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much! What did you get your degree in?
Hi Marisa,

Check out the program at NYU -- http://www.scps.nyu.edu/areas-of-study/graphic-communications/gradu.... Its not in our immediate area per se, but its niche and sounds like a perfect fit for you.

Good luck,

Jim
Yea I agree with Jim, most of these niche programs would probably be at big schools in the city, Try some of the art schools, S.V.A.,Pratt, NYU, schools with a solid design program with a track record for the business marketing and Advertising side, the downside would probably be that the tuition is steep.

I'm auditing a night class at Ramapo this semester, and funny enough it's called Creative Advertising and Public Relations, I'll ask my professor about your question, because frankly I'm curious too!
Hi Marisa,

I also looked into the Comm MA at Monmouth, and didn't do it. I did my MA online through Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY in one year (VERY tough program). But if you want to go the Art Director route, you should check out some other schools that offer online programs. Online is NOT easy, but it makes having a full-time job and a social life a LOT easier to manage. I'm glad I did my MA online. Hope you find the program you're looking for!
