This past summer I moved to the Monmouth County area, but really not too far from Middlesex County, just "over the border" bayside.  I was wondering if anyone was interested in meeting up somewhere along the Rt. 35/36 corridor, either after work hours or one day on the weekend?  Always keeping other meetups in other areas in mind, just hard to plan making those ones M-F sometimes when I can be sent anywhere for work during the week.  Have a good rest of the week everyone!

I'm doing another meetup in Mercer County this week... you can see the thread Happy Hour under Mike's discussion (and I know some of those who've responded to that also responded to my post so I'll see you there).  If you would like to also join us, then check it out.   I work close enough to make that one in Mercer but for next week I will definitely throw something out there who can make it doable around Parkway Exit 117 area. That seems like the best middle ground I can figure given the responses.  All ideas are welcome!

The other meetup was a great success, first informal get together with new, really cool people.  Weekends work best I think for this particular meetup in "Monmouth County".  We plan on being snowed-in this weekend (even if its an inch) in the Keyport-Matawan area, so not much can be planned for this Sat/Sun.  However for us, with nothing much to do, if the roads aren't that bad, we may sneak out to Park East for The Encore Saturday Happy Hour from 3-6p.  I figure we can only handle so much TV, snow shoveling, and apartment cleaning in one weekend.

Hey guys. I live in Monmouth county, closer to ocean county but i work in red bank so old bridge and hazlet arent far for me at all. so definetly interested. Love park east in Hazlet. Let me know. I would be up for during the week or weekend!

Has anyone been to Redzone in Sayreville? I think it just opened up a few weeks ago.

I was at Redzone this weekend...it is really nice! I would be down to meet there for a happy hour. They're open everyday 3pm-2 am.
