I liked using Wells Fargo.  My loan was originated by a family friend but that's not what made up my mind.  Rates last year from Wells Fargo matched even the best I had found with Lending Tree, BUT in addition I was able to get a MUCH better rate by putting more money down.  Also, it worked out nicely that they offer a Rewards Visa card where instead of getting cash back, it subtracts from your principal (not your payment, the actual principal) so I'm really glad I went that route and pay all my bills with the card.
