Hi NJYP's my wife and I moved to Montclair in March and it's been hard to make new friends, anything going on around town where we could meet other YP's in NJ would be great. I'm in engineering sales and my wife who is out of town for a few weeks is a computer scientist. We're into good music (we both love Pinback), food, art, gardens, strategy games, the Office, Arrested Development. So consider this our personal ad for new friends. We came here to escape our noisy Manhattan situation.

cool! Yeah my wife and I went to a live Pinback show at Irving Plaza, maybe back in October, it was great.

Cool maybe we will meet you at the next event closer to Essex county. Montclair has alot of For Rent signs right now by the way.

Come out to the happy hours. They're low-key and the best way to start going to NJYP events. I'm trying to move to Montclair but am pretty close (Caldwell). A couple of my friends from NJYP live in/around Montclair too.

PS I love pinback too! Summer in abaddon is one of my favorite albums ever.
Hey Richard,

I just came across your post and figured I would let you know about a dodgeball league that I run in Montclair. Registration is open now and the league will start in early January. The league is made up mostly of young professionals from Northern NJ. We have approximately 10,000 customers most of which are in Hudson County but we have a pretty good presence in the Montclair area as well. Games will be played at Immaculate Conception which is right across the street from Just Jake's where we have our post-game happy hours.

For more info please check out website at www.zogsports.org/nj.

Hope to see you out this winter!
