Hi Deanna and welcome to NJYP! I've been a member for at least a year but have only been to a couple of events so I'm a newbie in terms of attending events.  Are you going to the "my first time" event in February? I probably will be so hopefully I'll see you there!  Where do you live? I live in Bergen county.

Hello,

The newbie thing seems to be gaining some momentum here with a few posts, an event, etc. Good to see because I am new and interested to see how these events go. I have gone to two (one social gathering and one hike) and have been happy with the events and the people who show up. I am sure you'll like being a part of this and welcome aboard, from one newbie to another!

Hi Deanna

I'm a long time member and most of friends (which now seem like family) have come from being part of NJYP.  Everyone is there for the same thing and super friendly.  Don't be afraid to say "Hi I'm new"

Hi Deanna,

I have been a member since May, and been to a handful of events, such as happy hours, speed dating and Sundress & Tie party to name a few. Everyone is super nice, we are all here to meet new people, and make new friends along the way :) All you have to do is say Hi, I am new, and you will get lots of smiles and people saying hi :)
