“South Jersey Community Impact” is a non-profit (501c3 pending) organization that works to improve the lives of South Jersey residents by providing emergency food assistance and emergency home repairs.
With hunger on the rise in southern New Jersey and increasing numbers of families struggling to keep a roof over their head and food on the table, the SJCI is dedicated to expanding the safety net for our neighbors in need.
The SJCI hosts canned food collection events to support local food banks and is putting together a network of volunteers to perform home repairs for people whose homes require critical/life safety upgrades or handicapped accessibility.
The purpose of SJCI is to supplement and to support the work of other non-profit organizations that are on the front-lines combating hunger and economic insecurity in our community. To that end, this year the SJCI will provide food support to the Pitman Food Pantry and the Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries. Our ultimate goal is to support food banks throughout the entire southern New Jersey region.
