I work in midtown, I might be game for that, depending ont he when and where.
I live in Jersey City so I may be able to join you, depending what time!
OK- well, that is why I am posting this to get ideas!!!
Def would love to!!! Where does everyone commute back to Jersey from? Maybe that will help us pick a location. I use Penn Station and work in Midtown. I know there is a roof top bar near Grand Central Station that would be great to go to once the weather gets warmer. I'll have to find out the name of it.
Hey- I usually take path.. I am downtown by WTC.. There is a street called Pearl street with many bars, but I am willing to travel anywhere !!!
I could probably take the Path back to Newark and catch the train home from there.

its up to you... lets look at dates we can plan it, maybe first week in may...
I also work in Midtown near Grand Central Station. I think Dar is referring to Mad 46, which is a phenomenal spot to meet up. 230 Fifth is also a nice rooftop bar that is a good halfway point for those of you who are working near WTC. Let's enjoy the beautiful weather while it lasts!
230 fifth is great too...
Great idea! I work in Newark and commute by train so on weekdays NYC is more convenient than a lot of places in NJ.

Does anyone like the Stone Street area in the Financial District? It's a cobblestone pedestrian strip lined with several good bars/cafes/restaurants. There's also a nice beer bar called Stout near Penn Station that also has live music on some nights.
I was just reading through this month's New York magazine and a new rooftop bar is opening soon on the sixteenth floor of Ink48 in Hell's Kitchen. I realize that this is a bit of a hike for those commuting from NJ, but word on the street is that the city views are breathtaking and the cocktail menu is great.
