Ocean County? Warren County??

I live in Warren County currently but spend a great deal of time in Ocean County but these counties aren't listed under events... is there a reason or just nobody stepping up to host events? I totally would! I'm a new member but once I hit up a few more outings, I'd love to be of help!!

Hey Melissa-

The problem is less than 30 members live in Ocean County and less than 10 live in Warren County. Events are always added to a county AFTER there are lots of members.

However, because Jackson is on the border of Middlesex and Monmouth Counties I did add an Ocean County event for January, http://www.njyp.org/events/volunteer-build-at-animal and know that we do sometimes have Warren County hikes.

I also just joined NJYP and live in Warren County (work in Hunterdon County) and it's tough because a lot of events are quite far away. Hopefully membership will get built up and there will be more options for us in the future that don't involve a lot of travel. Hope to see you around at some of the closer events!

Hey, I hear you -- I live in Jackson and also work Wednesday nights (a popular NJYP happy hour night), so most of the events are way out there for me.

But it'll be up to us to grow the ranks a bit down here... maybe to get some folks from up north to take the drive down! ;) I'll be at the aforementioned Seer Farms event in January too.
